In Dynasty of Evil, the third novel in Drew Karpyshyn’s Star Wars®: Darth Bane trilogy, 20 years have passed since the reigning Dark Lord of the Sith reinvented the order as a rule of two: one Master to wield the power and one apprentice to usurp the Dark Lord in a duel to the death. But Bane’s acolyte, Zannah, has yet to prove herself a worthy successor. Determined that the Sith dream of galactic domination will not die with him, Bane vows to learn the secret of a forgotten Dark Lord that will assure the Sith’s immortality—and his own.
Dispatching his apprentice to the planet Doan, Bane sets out in secret to capture Darth Andeddu’s holocron and its precious knowledge. But Zannah is no fool. Sensing that her Master is hiding something crucial to her future, she chooses an apprentice of her own: a rogue Jedi cunning and cold-blooded enough to embrace the Sith way.
Yet Zannah is not the only one with the desire and power to destroy Darth Bane. Haunted by memories of the Sith soldier who murdered her father and tortured her as a child, Princess Serra of Doan’s royal family is bent on retribution: She hires a merciless assassin to find her tormentor—and bring him back alive to taste her wrath.

Way to wrap up a great trilogy. All of the potential Sith apprentices in the same scene. That left the story hung in mystery because you didn't know who was going to be chosen as the next apprentice. I was kind of disappointed in how Bane died. He didn't get a chance to use his new found power to its fullest, and all he left for Zannah was a shaking left hand. Still, an extremely good book.

Great story I wish they would make this series into a movie!

Great read. The story was great with the information provided about more Sith history and how that may affect the Rule of Two. I can not wait to read more about Whether it is Zannah or Bane now in possession of Zannah's body and how the new apprentice works out.

What a way to wrap up the Darth Bane and Zannah storyline. I can't wait to read the next step in the Sith story. Drew Karpyshyn is an excellent writer for the Star Wars universe. The only criticism was I had the ending figured out a couple of chapters from the end, but still a great read.

The third book in the Darth bane 'Trilogy' is engaging and mysterious. It keeps you trying to see around every bend and turning pages faster than you thought possible.
The characters are well developed giving you a look into the mind of a true sith.
This book is easily a number one on any Sci-Fi reading list, as it is fast paced and easy to comprehend.
I would easily recommend this book to any Star Wars or Sci-Fi fans.
