Picking up after the cataclysmic events and revelations of Pale Demon’s road trip to hell, A Perfect Blood, the tenth book in Kim Harrison’s New York Times bestselling Hollows series, conjures more plot twists to thrill Rachel Morgan’s legions of fans!
For any living human being, renewing a driver’s license and getting a car registered is a dreaded task. But for Rachel Morgan—declared legally dead because of her new day-walking demon identity—the whole bureaucratic process is simply Kafkaesque. She’s about to give up when Inderland Security offers a ray of hope.
Ritually murdered corpses, all witches, are appearing across Cincinnati—terrifying amalgams of human and other. The I.S. wants the ex-witch’s help with the investigation. In exchange, Rachel wants her license and registration. A good deal...she thinks. But before long, Rachel realizes a horrifying truth—a would-be creator is determined to make his (or her) own demons. But it can’t be done without her blood.
As a bounty hunter, Rachel has battled vampires, witches, werewolves, demons and more. But nothing compares to this new case, and it’s beginning to look as if humanity itself might be her toughest challenge yet!

As always Kim Harrison delivers an excellent book, the twist and turns keep you guesssing on whats going to happen next. I haven't made it through the whole book yet but so far it was deffinately was worth waiting for. I love the tension between Ivy and Rachel and the intricacy of each of the characters in the book, they just seem to come to life, its so ineteresting to see how each relationship takes shape and how it impacts the whole group of characters. Thanks Kim for another fantastic book.

So many changes happened in Pale Demon, clearly this book continues forward. The humour, the action, as always is top notch. Then, of course there is the ongoing Ivy/Rachel tension, that I won't elaborate on in this review. Because, I don't want to spoil things for readers that have yet to read the books. In, short "A Perfect Blood" is awesome in every witch way.

I'm surprised by the two previous comments. When a store or club is late shipping me something, and I mean past the release date, I'm the first to complain. But my experience is that they are happy to ship as soon as it does release. Money for them and hopefully a great read for us the readers. Felt the need to clarify because if they were legitimate complaints they would be worth making, but since it wasn't out when they wrote them they are not. My club experiences have been very positive ones.
