The movie was awesome as well as the books. I think they did a great job of capturing the essence of the books, a lot of times the books are better than the movie. I do not believe that is the case here. Both interpretations left you wanting more. I have already asked off for the midnight showing of eclipse - can't wait :) !!!

I thought it was very fascinating. I actually started looking thru the book before the movie and I new what was coming next while watching the move. Excellent reading!!

I'm not a fan of this book series by Stephenie Meyer; I don't think the books are intelligently crafted fantasy or faithful to the long-lived lore of classic, mythic monster tales, but the films are undoubtedly engaging. And for some of of the uninitiated this book guide pretty much lays out the backstories in full-illustrations as well as gives a behind-the-scenes look at the phenomenon!
