As always Stephen King surpasses himself with the beginning of the Dark Tower comics - Roland totally rocks no matter how he is written!

The graphics and the story line depicted what I percieved as Kings thoughts as he wrote the book. I look forward to more works from King and Marvel.

Wonderful. The art fit perfectly the atmosphere of the story. Hard looking characters and landscapes, with a majesty about them. It was obvious that King worked with the creative team closely. I do not think those familiar with the novels will be disappointed in the story telling nor the art. While those not familiar are introduced in a beautiful manner.

An all around great work! The graphics are a perfect mating of color and dark. The story is compelling, and leaves you wanting more. A lot of times works lose the original vision of the creator. But, as stated in the open letter by Stephen King. He worked closeley with the people at Marvel to make sure that the story was well in line with, what is to come for Roland in the future. Great job to all involved!

Really enjoyed the art work, A MUST HAVE if you enjoyed the Dark Tower novels. It gives Roland a face, plus fills in on some of his early history. Hope to see more in this format.
