Good transfer of a game to a book
January 19, 2009

The character development was very bad in this book, unlike Shadows of the Empire, but still, it was an intersting read. What would now be interesting is a prequel novel - Darth Vader's apprentice Galen Marek meeting Anakin Skywalker's Apprentice Ahsoka Tano.

If you like a good book that twists you in two different directions, this is the book for you. I would've never predicted this ending, so if you want to find out what happens, READ IT!!!!

Garbage
November 05, 2008

This book is terrible. The first third is so bad only a feat of will got me through it. It's extremely poorly written and an obvious rush job. It's as if Lucasarts decided they wanted to do a multimedia event alongside this game a few weeks before release and sent the author a copy of the game with a note teling him to write what he sees. I'm not kidding, save your money.

Well......
September 22, 2008

As a fan of Star Wars since it came out in the theaters, I have enjoyed reading the adventures both within the movie timeline (screenplay adaptations) and without (everything else). The last multimedia tie-in ("Shadows of the Empire") was a full-on novel and filled in some gaps. This novel attempts to show the reader a glimpse of the time shortly before Episode 4. This time the tie-in was more of a here's-your-mission-now-go-defeat-the-boss feel instead of plotline. While entertaining on a rainy Saturday I was left feeling a little hollow and wanting afterwards.

Simply Amazing
September 16, 2008

This novel was incredible who would've thought that Vader would openly betray his apprentice, man I didn't even see that coming. But the novel was excellent and I'm so siked to play the game which I'll have sometime this week. I hope that there are more novels that'll explore the timeline in between episodes 3 & 4, cause i have a feeling that there's still more stories that need to be told.
