i am in my 60's but i loved the movies and i loved these books i would like to collect all of cs lewis books and if the movies are on dvd them too

I ordered the set for my grandson for his birthday. I thought I'd look through them and ended up reading them. They are good stories, I think, no matter what your age you can find enjoyment in reading them.

The Chronicals of Narnia are an excellent read where basic themes such as right and wrong, equality, justice, and friendships are delved into in an intreaging way. Wonderful stories about growing up and making choices, being responsible for your actions, and having fun along the way. Please give a set to every young adult you know as I remember being turned onto these stories at about 13 years of age and still enjoy reading them to this day.

These stories are wonderfully inspiring and entertaining. As with all of C.S. Lewis' books, they teach us about the importance of Christian values. But in "The Chronicles..." we have look at the symbolism involved in the characters and action of these books. Children and parents should read and discuss the books together.

I have read the entire 7-book series! All of them were entertaining! I understand that they were written more towards children, but all ages can enjoy them.
