I read the book after seeing the movie. I wish it was the other way around. Hair raising suspense! Kept me on the edge of my seat. Didn't want to put it down!

Have you ever wondered what you would do if you were pushed to your absolute limits by the man you love? What would happen when that last straw breaks the camel's back? This book is King's answer to that. You don't just come to understand Dolores Claiborne in this book, you become her and you relate to her, and you keep turning those pages to see what she will do next. Classic King, and a great read as always.

Dolores Claiborne is a must read, wonderful book. Dolores Claiborne is the best book that I have read in the last three years. The characters and the plots are fantastic, suspenseful and chilling. I read the book in a short period of time and I thought it was wonderful. The story lines are well written and they never get boring. I know that everyone says "Oh, this is King's best", but I have to say that this is really King at his best. I would recommend this book to everyone, specially Stephen King fans.
