Loved the book; couldn't put it down

I was a bit skeptical at first about how interesting this book would be, but I was truly judging the book by it's cover. I only picked the book because it was the number one seller on the epic fantasy section of the SFBC website at the time. Once I started reading the book, I couldn't put it down. I'd never heard of Drizzt Do'Urden, and I'm glad I started here at the beginning. I would recommend this book to anyone, especially lovers of the fantasy genre.

One of the best reads I've exsperienced to date.Read the book in 28 hrs straight thru. Absolutly fabulous! Huge fantasy fan. Story line like this keeps reader wanting more

I greatly enjoyed the Dark Elf trilogy, but the best thing I can say about these books is that they introduced a friend of mine to the amazing world of books in general and the fantasy genre specifically. My friend always used to tease me about getting so caught up in these books that he had to call my name several times or physically touch me to get my focus back on reality. My friend was never into reading because he'd never found anything worth bothering, but I persuaded him to try "Homeland" and he was hooked immediately and has been an avid reader since.
