One of the best reads I've exsperienced to date.Read the book in 28 hrs straight thru. Absolutly fabulous! Huge fantasy fan. Story line like this keeps reader wanting more

I greatly enjoyed the Dark Elf trilogy, but the best thing I can say about these books is that they introduced a friend of mine to the amazing world of books in general and the fantasy genre specifically. My friend always used to tease me about getting so caught up in these books that he had to call my name several times or physically touch me to get my focus back on reality. My friend was never into reading because he'd never found anything worth bothering, but I persuaded him to try "Homeland" and he was hooked immediately and has been an avid reader since.

How it all began.

R.A. Salvatore's best known character Drizzt Do'Urden starts his journey in this series. This trilogy starts off from Dizzt's birth to his rise to the surface. I highly recommend this book as a must read before any other Drizzt book to better understand him and to make any other story become a more enthralling read.

Very enthralling, couldn't put it down for a second. One of the most epic stories you could ask for. Very satisfied, can't wait to read all of Drizzt's stories.
