The Unseen

Bestselling author Heather Graham does it again with The Unseen, blending paranormal chills and hot-blooded romance in a mystery that stretches back more than a century.

San Antonio, Texas, is under siege. In the last month alone, the city has become a dumping ground for battered bodies. All young women, all long missing, almost all forgotten. Until now. Even stranger, the deaths seem tied to a brutal murder that took place at the Longhorn Saloon in the 1880s!

In response, Texas Ranger Logan Raintree is asked to lead a team of paranormal investigators specially formed to take on the case. With his uncanny ability to commune with the dead, Logan is a natural choice for a leader, but his gifts are matched by team member Kelsey O’Brien, a U.S. marshal who has the power to “see” the past unfolding in the present.

Following their instincts, Kelsey and Logan soon find their way to the newly reopened Longhorn. If the spirits of long-dead Texans are really appearing to the victims before their deaths, they mean to find out why. But, if something more earthly is menacing the city, they plan to stop it—with extreme prejudice—before more innocent women join the company of San Antonio’s restless ghosts.

Good read.

I have only read a few Heather Graham books but the blurb on this one sounded interesting so I gave it a try. It was a good read, a bit predictable, but I liked the paranormal aspect. Definately worth reading though I don't think I will rush out and buy more of her books.
