A good read
August 20, 2009

Salvatore really created a likeable character within his series named Drizzt. There are other great characters, but this particular character is received so well. Sometimes as a writer, it's hard to stick with a particular character and series. I have read other works and found them good, but still the darlk elf books are more enjoyable. I think Salvatore could write books involving Drizzt for another 30 years and they would sell. However all writers must try new ideas and themes, and some stories and characters have to come to an end.

Excellent storyline!

This entire series of books has been amazing and really fun to read. I hope that Salvatore continues writing fresh, & exciting stories with these characters for years to come.

Drizzt
January 03, 2008

If ever I fell in love with a character it is Drizzt D'Urden - he is the finest swordman EVER - he is loyal and kind with a touch of mean and nasty - gotta love him - I wish R.A. Salvatore would continue with the stories of Drizzt - I own everyone of them and long for more, more, more! I really like the "comic" series and have read and own those as well and would love to complete my collection with more of them. WE NEED MORE STORIES OF DRIZZT

A great continuation
October 27, 2006

I though that The Thousand Orcs really set some high standards for this next book, and I believe Salvatore met it head on. This book continues the trilogy perfectly. I'm so excited to read The Two Swords!
