R.A. Salvatore books are among the most distinguished in the entire fantasy fiction genre, appearing regularly on the New York Times bestseller lists. His first of many published fantasy books, The Crystal Shard (1988), launched his beloved Icewind Dale Trilogy and introduced the world to one of his most popular characters, the “dark elf” Drizzt Do’Urder. The character is such a fan favorite, every novel featuring him has landed on the New York Times bestseller list.
R.A. Salvatore is unbelievably prolific, constantly adding new fantasy books to his numerous ongoing series, including The Dark Elf Trilogy, Paths of Darkness, The Hunter’s Blade Trilogy and The Cleric Quintet.
