Kevin J. Anderson

 Believe it or not, the first of many Kevin J. Anderson “books” was written when the author was just 8 years old. Sure, it was only three pages long (on pink scrap paper), but it was an auspicious beginning. By 10, he had saved up enough money from mowing lawns to buy either a bicycle or his own typewriter. He chose the typewriter, and has been writing ever since.

Today, of course, he is a highly respected science fiction author, known for consistently churning out novels that are as imaginative as they are thrilling. Kevin J. Anderson books span the full range—and include Star Wars books, Dune novels, X-File stories, and a dazzling collection of original tales, including the epic Saga of the Seven Suns series—and along the way, Anderson has won or been nominated for the most prestigious awards in the field. When asked for advice about how to be a successful author, he answered quickly: Persistence!
