

DR. WILLIAM J. BENNETT is the best-selling author and editor of 11 books, including The Book of Virtues and The Children's Book of Virtues, as well as an educator and speaker. He is a Distinguished Fellow at the Heritage Foundation and co-director of Empower America, an organization dedicated to promoting conservative principles and ideas. Dr. Bennett served as Secretary of Education and Chairman of the National Endowment for the Humanities under President Reagan and Director of the Office of National Drug Control Policy under President Bush. He co-chairs the National Commission on Civic Renewal and the Partnership for a Drug-Free America.
